Audience

Electives are open to school leaders at any level.

NOTE:  Participants will not be permitted to register to attend this workshop with their subordinates or supervisor. 

Session Description

Most school leaders today are encountering many stressors in the school environment – heightened expectations, political disagreements, due dates, meetings, difficult students, adult and child mental health issues, and a never-ending flow of assignments. As leaders balance all of these issues, emotional resolve may start to weaken. This workshop is designed to give participants the tools they need to identify workplace stressors, end self-deprecating talk, and build communicative workplace structures to improve in mental health and work satisfaction.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations are subject to a $60 cancellation fee.
• Cancellations must be submitted in writing to april@scasa.org by January 30, 2024.
• Cancellations received after January 30, 2024, will not be refunded.
