Audience

Participation is restricted to anyone who has completed a strand in the past or is currently enrolled in one session.

Session Description

In his 1970 essay, Robert K. Greenleaf coined the term “servant leader” as someone who desires first to serve and then to lead. It is someone whose primary concern is to help others realize their aspirations and achieve their greatest potential. Participants will explore ways to foster a healthy work environment that improves individuals’ ability to realize their full potential. In an interactive learning setting, the workshop content will include an examination of the underlying principles of a traditional approach to leadership as compared to servant leadership, including how to foster shared decision-making, self-managing teams, and best practices for effective collaboration.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
• Cancellations must be submitted in writing to april@scasa.org by February 8, 2023.
• Cancellations received after February 8, 2023, will not be refunded.
