Audience
Participation is restricted to elementary, middle, and secondary aspiring principals with 2+ years of experience.
Session Description
This workshop will present information to aspiring principals on the behaviors of an effective leader in the role of principal, especially related to moving forward with creativity and action. Content will help reshape thinking on innovation by providing knowledge of the different elements of creativity and how to build ideas in a group to let innovation flow. As a result, participants will be better prepared to overcome traditional thinking patterns, use collaboration to gain multiple options and new approaches, and thereby gain confidence to creatively engage in their position.

Requirements for Contact Hours
- You will only receive credit for the number of contact hours in which you participate.
- In order to earn your Silver CEEL Certificate, you are required to complete each full-day workshop in the Silver Strand series in its entirety.
- If you only attend a portion of the day and want to receive the Silver CEEL Certificate, you will be required to re-register, pay, and attend the entire session when scheduled the following year.
