Audience
Participation is restricted to elementary, middle, and secondary principals.
Session Description
The demanding job of the principal can sometimes lead to feelings of exhaustion, mentally and physically, creating difficulty in maintaining the enthusiasm needed for leadership. In this session, participants will gain understanding of the five factors of personal resilience, personal self-assessment score on each factor, and ways to build resilience within the framework. Additionally, in this book-study format, participants will have an opportunity for full discussion time on each factor in a small group setting with colleagues.
A few weeks prior to the session, you will be receiving the book Stronger, by George Everly, Jr., to prepare for your participation.

- Cancellations are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing to april@scasa.org by January 12, 2023.
- Cancellations received after January 12, 2023, will not be refunded.
Requirements for Contact Hours
- You will only receive credit for the number of contact hours in which you participate.
- In order to earn your Silver certificate, you are required to complete each full-day workshop in the Silver Strand series in its entirety.
