Participation is restricted to anyone who has completed a strand in the past or is currently enrolled in one session.

Session Description

Recent teacher engagement studies revealed that in some districts a full one-third of the staff and faculty workforce is not engaged or highly disengaged. This is a critical issue because highly engaged faculty are emotionally committed to their school’s goals and use their discretionary effort to go the extra mile on behalf of their students. Employees who are not highly engaged look for work elsewhere—or perhaps even worse, stay and do the bare minimum to perform in their role. In this session participants will learn techniques and behaviors proven to improve engagement, including fresh ways to show care and concern; questions to discuss with individual staff and faculty members to determine strengths and how best to leverage them; common obstacles to engagement and techniques for reducing them; and how to foster an environment where everyone feels valued.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

• Cancellations received after November 15, 2022, will not be refunded.
