Audience

Participation is restricted to anyone who has completed a strand in the past or is currently enrolled in one session.

Session Description

In addition to the role of overseer, school leaders are often also mentors, delegators, diplomats, and disciplinarians. Regardless of the nature or extent of the behavioral issue, the school leader is responsible for correcting the behavior. Sometimes poor supervision is actually a primary source of all the organization’s problems. According to a Huffington Post survey, employees with bad managers are the least productive workers. In fact, 65% of respondents said they would take a new boss over a pay raise!  This workshop is designed to help you understand individual performance and conduct problems at a deeper level and give you the strategies and communication tools to improve your effectiveness. You will learn techniques for managing performance as well as the recourse to take to resolve problems, create goals, work through personal issues, and mediate conflict.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
• Cancellations must be submitted in writing to april@scasa.org by March 31, 2021.
• Cancellations received after March 31, 2021, will not be refunded.
