Audience

Participation is restricted to principals who has completed all requirements of the Silver & Gold CEEL programs. By invitation only.

Session Description

Typically principals are neither able nor expected to do everything themselves.  The consequences of trying to do so can be dire.  That’s why the ability to delegate effectively is an essential leadership skill for the principal.  Delegation starts with creating an environment based on trust and establishing a rapport with colleagues to better align tasks with their competence and interests as individuals.  Delegation is not merely allocating task assignments; rather, it involves giving someone the authority to do something that is usually part of the leader’s job.  This session will develop your skill in implementing the process of delegation including determining what to delegate to whom, and how, ultimately resulting in more discretionary time for work that only you can do.

Payment 

• Individual course registration is not allowed in the Platinum program. You are required to register for the entire series which includes all program elements in addition to workshops.
• Online registration must be paid by credit card. 
• SCASA does not except purchase orders.
