Session Description

Participants will discover the principles on leadership, integrity, and people-focused management that shaped the life and career of one of America’s most admired public figures, General Colin Powell, USA (Ret.).  The workshop will reveal Powell’s 13 Rules, notes he gathered over the years that ultimately formed the basis of his leadership presentations.  Powell emphasizes trusting teams, fostering a positive culture, and making decisions with kindness and empathy.  In a small group format, participants will engage in activities and discussions on how the 13 Rules may be applied within their own leadership experiences.

A few weeks prior to the session, you will be receiving the book It Worked for Me in Life and Leadership, by Colin Powell, to prepare for your participation.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations are subject to a $60 cancellation fee.
